If  I choose a topic to make the video to introduce china.My topic will be the change of the capital in china.the important city is Xi’an, Nanjing and Beijing. They are famous and the attractions are beautiful. They are also have many history stories and historical remains.such  as Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors and Horses.

Xi’an is an old city, it was the capital of china from more than 2200 years ago.

Planing and Group Activities

Today we have three learning content,time planing, website planing and group activities. The time planing is very helpful for a future teacher like me. it can help me to design the class and make the class better. i can design my learning event with it very well and make eveything more suitable. it can use in the prepration of the class. make sure the teacher konw clearly what to teach and how to teach.

website planing is helpful in my blog and in the show of learning event.i can make my blog more clearly for my students and others. I like the survey very much, and i plan use it in my learning event. My topic is about Confucius and chinese culture, and i like chinese cluture and it can trace back to many thousands years ago, and i want other people can know more about it. But i donnot know whether others want to know it and their view. so finally  i want to add a survey. I aslo konw that chinese culture have weakness,and other culture all have their special ,but only exchange all of them, maybe we can see other different world or different something, maybe this is improve.

Group activities is a special method and i have never know it before.and it is interesting, and can exchange view.From other view,we can see or know many other thing, and can improve us.Maybe the new term, i will in the university class as the assistant.i will try this method in my class and encourage the students communicate with each other.

Teaching and Learning

Today we study something  about the education, such as teaching, learning , library, information and so on.Teacher has show us the new libray and old library,the new learning and the old learning, Oslo univeisity college has reach the new level,but i find that my university or my country’s university are between the old and new,maybe near old.The difference is that we havenot the environment for group study and discuss, such as seminer room,new technology’s using (the pc for students are less) ,the ditigital resources are not many. The process of change about the technology’s using depends on technology,economy,globalization and the traditional thoughts.

 

The teaching is very important, and the most important thing for a teacher is how to improve students’ ability and skills, and teach the Ss how to study and how to find information,but not give Ss some information and knowledge. This is our goal, in fact in china,there are many teachers have not the thought about how to teach, they just tell the students the same knowledge year by year,especially in the villege shools, the teachers havenot high level about the teaching ,so in china there are many differences between cities and villeges. The city shool has the good teachers, good technology, good machine and many differernt information or resources , but in the villeges or the poor area ,there are only books and teacher in the class, they only can get the information and knowledges from the teacher and books. In these ares, the teachers have not the conditions to supply more information and better teaching for students.

 

The styles of teaching decided the way of learning. so the better teaching lead to better learning and training the better students, and the other thing on the contrary.

Communication(trigger movie)

Today we have do the trigger movie, and our topic is communication. The first half an hour, we made the plan, how to impress ourselves and how to design. I think the idea is very good, but i donnot think the movie is perfect.

I had study how to record sth and edit it many years ago when i enter into the University with the Pre ,but i have not use it recently. So maybe this software is easy than the Pre, but we are not edit it better, i think the communication is a very serious problem, and the languange is the first problem so far,maybe the different culture is another problem.Maybe somebody think it is very good from their view. So this is the difference between us.

Today I have learned sth from the workshop, and I have wake up that we should say something when you see sth different or sth is wrong ,Only you say it and others may see it ,so i think keep your view is as important as you accept other’s views.

And finally I want to say,this software is very good,it can be used easy and can make  good impression or good video.

The video of Oslo(story telling)

This is the second week in the Latina.Yesterday is the first day of the week. we have learn how to tell a story.  The teacher is a story teller,which is surprised me. Because in china ,there is no class like this.So the class is intersting for me. From the class, i know how to tell a story to different people,maybe you can use different styles  to different objects. and it aslo tell us ,the conduct when you tell the story or when you show sth will influences the listeners. And the conduct of listeners can aslo affect the teller, so when as the listeners at the class or at anywhere ,we should listen seriously.Yesterday afternoon,we have choose the topic for today. 

Today we have make a video about the view of  Olso with other two classmates.

We made the video with the software of “Photo Story 3″. Yesterday afternoon,teacher has introduce the software to us, and we have a practice of how to use it. And the main task of today is take the photos which will used in the video and make the video. Our topic is Tourist attractions from another point of view.  so we do the view of Oslo. We planed to make video about the building(old and new),the culture, the daily life(living,cooking,life styles)and so on.But finally, we make the video about some of these,because we cannot find some photos about cooking and other things.

The software is easy ,but make the video is difficult ,because three people must work together,and sometimes the viewpoint is not consistent,but most time we are agree with each other.So i have learn sth about how to work better in the group. I think the cooperation ability of  some chinese is not very good,so this is a chance to change and improve.Tomorrow ’s work we must work together again, i believe that we will do it better.

The First Week in Latina

Today is friday,and the first week in latina has gone . we have learn something  such as  wordpress,googledocs,googletalk, gmail,picasa,wikipedia and the other things.  The topic is the share and use the recources. Today,we have choose the topic of our personal projects,and make a presentation about JAVASCRIPT to the class. the poland group also make the presentation,and the vedio they made is very beautiful and designed specially.Maybe we can learn more things from them.

The summary of the first week as follow.

the course is intersting, and maybe now the tools  is not very difficult,but the design will spend us many time to do it.I think the design is very important but  is  difficult to do very well.

The Design of Learning Environment for Online Learning Community

The learning evironment is very important,especially in the online community.

The history of the topics. The China is very vast and many population. and so in the easten of china ,the econmy and the otherthings is better than the west,because the east of china is developing quikly. so the instructional resources are also different between west and east. especially the level of the teachers is different too.

My topic is how to use the abundant resouces of east to develop  the west teaching of china. first of all,my tutor’s program can supply some videos about the process of the class. and some vedios about the peofessor’s comment to the class. so my task is how to use these vedios resources to build a community for the lower teachers to learn, exchange,and to improve.

 

there are some Normal University,which is a kind of  University,but training the future teachers specially. So the students graduated from the Uniersities will be teachers. But in china ,there are many many students and there are few chances to practice them before they work in the school. The community can  supply the videos of  the class, so they can learn sth from the video and chat with others in the community, exchange their ideas and debate hoe can to teach better,and so on.

So how to design the community is very important ,it influnces the learning of  the teachers and the students .But how to design it ,I am thinking over it .

在美国,英国和欧洲的高校，学习型社区，现在相当普遍.

A learning community is a group of people who share common values and beliefs, are actively engaged in learning together from each other. Such communities have become the template for a cohort-based, interdisciplinary approach to higher education. This is based on an advanced kind of educational or ‘pedagogical’ design^[1].

Community psychologists such as McMillan and Chavis (1986) state that there are four key factors that defined a sense of community: “(1) membership, (2) influence, (3) fulfillment of individuals needs and (4) shared events and emotional connections. So, the participants of learning community must feel some sense of loyalty and beyond to the group (membership) that drive their desire to keep working and helping others, also the things that the participant do in must affect what happened in the community, that means, an active and not just a reactive performance (influence). Besides a learning community must give the chance to the participants to meet particular needs (fulfillment) by expressing personal opinions, asking for help or specific information and share stories of events with particular issue included (emotional connections) emotional experiences^[2].

Learning communities are now fairly common to American colleges and universities, and are also found in the United Kingdom and Europe.

中国,学习型社会是非常受欢迎.在过去几年里，中国发生巨大的变化，包括网络。所以越来越多的华人访问互联网, 在互联网学习.网上学习社区已经在大学。作为一名学生学习硕士学位，大多数时间我研究互联网，搜索，阅读或沟通.学习社会在未来是一个重要的环境。

Learning community is very popular in China now.In the past few years,great changes has happened in china,include the networks. so more and more chinese have visit the Internet,and learning in the Internet.And the online learning communities have found in the university. As a student studying for master degree, Most time I study in the internet,search,read or communicate with others.so the learning community is one of the important environment in the future.
